WELCOME TO BIELSKO-BIAŁA
Both city names, Bielsko and Biała, come from the Biała River, from either biel or biała, which means "white" in Polish. Bielsko-Biala is a Central European Town with the perfect combination of an old and new character, where you can find mountain lifts near city borders.
Pomnik Recsia
When you get off the train and start exploring the city, you can see the Pomnik Recsia in the middle of Bielska and Bialo. Pomnik Recsia was all happening here in Bielsko-Biała, in local cartoon studio. This creature can stand and walk on its back legs and can talk to humans and to other animals. You can also visit the cartoon studio.
Sport
If you have time and you are interested in nature sports, Enduro Trails is the right choice for you. In this area very close to the city center, bicycle drivers of all levels can find well-maintained trails. Also, bike rental is quite convenient! Bielsko Biała was one of the most important textile centers in Europe in the past, now it is also place to visit to learn about the old styles of production.

Located in the south of Bielsko-Biała's main square. Built in the 15th century, It was almost completely built at the beginning of the 20th century.
