Magnificent Wisła

WHY WISŁA

"Wisla is an important Polish touristic site situated near the border with Slovakia and Czech Republic. The longest river of Poland origins there, in the Barania Mountain and gives the name to the city itself. The city it’s famous for its ski resorts and it’s ideal for winter activities, although it’s quite popular all the year around to have a weekend of outdoor activities in the mountains."

Ski lift and resorts 

The city has multiple ski lifts, but the most famous is the Malinka one. But this one is not for amateurs, and has been used during Winter Olimpics too.

Stara Winiarna

One of the most fascinating restaurants in Wisla, the "Old Winery" is ideal to enjoy a tasty meal after a day on the skis. It offers quite a few options, from Italian food to traditional Polish food accompanied by a fairy tale small "castle". During Christmas time the decorations alone are worth a visit.

Wooden Statue Park

One of the most important citizen of Wisla decided to use his own garden as a permanent exhibition park. You can see some of the wooden statues he's currently working on, mostly linked to Polish folklore.

History

Hasburg’s Hunting Castle

Not long ago all the Wisla region was part of the Hasburgic empire and the princes did not overview this magnificent location. They decided to build here a hunting lodge, and to have home where they could spend their leisure time.

Kaskady Rodla

It's a group of about 25 waterfalls and river rapids in Biala Wiselka on the north-western slopes of Barania Gora.

You can't leave Wisla without seeing them!
